Maestro Classics “Nutcracker” CD for Christmas

Are you ready for another Music Giveaway? How about one to help us get in the Christmas spirit? I’m happy to introduce our new partner Maestro Classics and thank them for offering a Maestro Classics Nutcracker CD.

The Nutcracker CD by Maestro Classics (with a giveaway)

Disclosure: I get commissions for purchases made through affiliate links in this post.

The music of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker is condensed to one hour and is played along with narration about the story of the Nutcracker by the fabulous speaker Jim Weiss. It comes with a 24-page activity book (and you can get a free Nutcracker unit study at the Maestro Classics website).

I love this (and all) the Maestro Classics CDs. You’ll love listening to the beautiful music and learn about the story of the Nutcracker at the same time.

  2. I’ve seen the ballet, but it’s been years!!! We have a video production so we’re somewhat familiar with the music…

  3. The Nutcracker Ballet was wonderful in Cleveland, OH @ the Palace Theater! It’s been years since I’ve seen it but a great memory and experience. I have also seen the ballet in Canton, OH and in Akron, OH. My daughter enjoyed it. It’s a neat experience with your kids once they are old enough to somewhat understand it and sit still. A favorite to listen to, especially at Christmas time!!

  4. Yes, I have seen it as a ballet and am very familiar with the music. Even the Barbie movie about it is a great introduction for kids! I’d love to win this CD to see if we like it, and then I might order the set!

  5. Yes, I have seen the Nutcracker Ballet with my children four years ago. Three ballets companies in our area come together to put it on along with our opera company. The community is invited to participate. Yes, I am familiar with some of the music.

  6. We have attended the Nutcracker performance in the past. We have also attended a special field trip event hosted by school of ballet in our city that shared insight into the play for younger audiences. We have read numerous stories and seen various videos too (from Angelina Ballerina’s Nutcracker episode to Barbie and the WonderPets!) 🙂 We have heard a few of the Maestro Classics CDs but have not listened to their Nutcracker edition. It would be wonderful to have add a copy to our Christmas collection.

  7. I took my daughter to see a family friend version of the ballet and have been wanting to listen/enjoy/learn more about the music now that she plays piano and violin. 🙂

  8. We go to the Nutcracker every year as a family tradition and we would love to have this CD and activity book to compliment the event. What a wonderful way to learn! Thank you 🙂

  9. I’ve never been to a complete performance of the Nutcracker. I did see a large portion of it as a teen when we watched the dress rehearsal done by a local school my mom’s best friend did the costumes for. I love the music.
