Friday, March 28:
We’ll perform White Winter Hymnal and Siyahamba on Friday, April 4 at 1pm in the gym. We’ll warm up in room 202 at 12:45 and run through both songs before heading down to the gym at 1:00.
Here’s the video I took on March 28. Practice with this one so you’ll have the correct tempo/speed! 🙂

Here are the new voice parts and hand-clapping parts with our class for March. Please practice with the tutorials below. Some aren’t showing up below, but you can click through to YouTube if that ends up being your part.
Here are the Hand-Clapping (not singing!) assignments so you can use the correct video below. Remember we are MIRRORING the person. So, if they use their right hand, you use your left.

Alto: Isaiah
Tenor: Ethan, Savannah
Bass 1: Aubrey, Flurry
Bass 2: Sydney
The order we’ll sit in is:
Flurry, Nichole, Savannah, Isaiah, Sydney, Aubrey, Elizabeth
Here are the singing parts:

Sing the parts along with this video. Six measures of just percussion before we come in with the Siyahamba verse. Then, the Marching verse, and end with the Siyahamba verse.
Here’s the video of us singing it on 3/21: https://youtube.com/shorts/B6esTO0xeqc?si=GAfm3dj799-lr3U5

Practice your part (low or high) at home this week with the following video
A reminder that the first two pages are in unison (everyone sings the same thing). The last page has a melody, which is the low part, and a descant, which is the high part. I sing the melody/low part first and then on the repeat I sing the descant/high part. Just learn the part you’re supposed to learn (high or low).
