With the American Music for Elementary online course, your students will be introduced to composers and styles of American Music of the past and present Learn about composers from Stephen Foster (who wrote the song “Camptown Races) to Pasek and Paul (who wrote the musical “Greatest Showman”). There are 36 lessons, so this is great to go along with your year of American History. Each lesson could be completed in a day in about 30 minutes, or split the lesson up and spread it throughout the week on the two or three days you want to focus on music.
4. World Music for Elementary is $69 value.
Travel the globe through music with one of my personal all-time favorite courses: World Music for Elementary. Each lesson highlights a different country or region, introducing your child to traditional instruments, cultural dances, songs, and more. This is a perfect complement to a world history or geography course.
5. Intro to Musicals is a $29 value
Your kids will discover the magic of Broadway with lessons featuring the musicals Annie, The Music Man, The Sound of Music, and many more in Intro to Musicals. Learn the stories and favorite songs of each musical.
6. State Songs of the 50 U.S. States is a $49 value
Doing a state study, American geography, or American history course this year? Then add the State Songs of the 50 U.S. States online course to learn each U.S. state’s official (and sometimes unofficial) state songs. The lessons are short and fun, and include great videos of the songs and info about each state.
