I am very excited about the composers and hymn studies. I have grown to greatly respect both publishers and would love to add these + the holiday study to the one-year history I am creating for my children. I can’t wait to do Shakespeare now – thanks for creating 10 Weeks of Shakespeare, Gena. I recommend it every time someone asks for Shakespeare ideas. And we love our Homeschool in the Woods timeline figures as well. I’m sorry I couldn’t pick just one!!

Oddly enough, here in New England our church services have focused mostly on the Praise Band type songs. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy them, but I’m looking forward to the Great Hymns in this pack. Thank you for putting this contest on!
Right! That’s the same thing in the churches near us. It’s one of the reasons I wrote the course— so that kids could learn about these great hymns and how to sing them!

I’m going to be a lame-o and say all of them! We love HSITW so that’s awesome. Hymns…. Love the story behind the song, and this goes so much deeper! That might inch ahead as my favorite because of the extra parts recorded separately. We have a bidding guitarist, so gotta lessons would be useful too….
I really want the hymn study, but we’re making an international move at the beginning of May, so I’m really pushing through this school year. I want to be done before we move, and so don’t want to buy anything extra. But my daughter even asked me if we were going to do hymn studies this year.
It may be something that she can do on her own, depending on her age. You can at least have her take a look at the “Amazing Grace” preview lessons. 🙂
